About Brian Gleason

With an eye for detail and an appreciation for one-of-a kind homes, Brian Gleason’s passion for buying, selling and renovating historic homes began in 1995 when he bought his first home in Lake Worth – a 1920’s Key West-style bungalow. Shortly thereafter, Brian caught the “buyer's bug” and continued investing in Lake Worth. He purchased and renovated several more homes and then decided to turn his hobby into a career.  He obtained his real estate license in 2001 and obtained his broker's license in 2003.

Brian’s interest in preserving the character and structure of historic homes led to his decision to take the Historic Real Estate Program offered by the National Trust for Historic Preservation (www.nationaltrust.org).  This program helps agents become more knowledgeable about, and be better stewards of, historic properties.  During this intensive course, Brian learned about the history of major American architectural styles, conservation easements, and historic preservation regulations and tax incentives.

A resident of Palm Beach County since 1972, Brian takes great pride and a genuine interest in the betterment of his community.  His years of serving on Lake Worth’s Code Enforcement Board and being president of the Parrot Cove neighborhood association combined with his first-hand experience working with architects, contractors, building officials and inspectors helps him better understand and educate his clients about the home buying, remodeling and renovating experience.  His drive and motivation makes him the ideal Realtor® for those interested in finding their perfect home or selling their current one.

Presently, Brian lives in a 1927 Spanish revival home that he completely renovated inside and out.  The home has been featured in The Palm Beach Post and the Sun Sentinel.  A certified master gardener, Brian’s lush, tropical garden has won numerous landscaping awards and appeared on the Parrot Cove Neighborhood Gardening Tour for two consecutive years and the Mounts Botanical Garden Tour in 2005.

In his spare time, Brian enjoys traveling with his wife, Jacqueline, gardening, and competing in triathlons and marathons.  In August 2007, Brian completed his second Ironman-distance triathlon...2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike, 26.2 mile run!
